Leptospermum 'Red Ensign' is a cultivar of Manuka easily distinguished by its single crimson flowers that are produced in great profusion and appear in spring/ early summer. The tree has a upright bushy habitat and can reach a height of 2m and a spread of 1.5m. Tolerates dry or a well-drained soil type, prefers full sun and some wind. Can be trimmed to control growth habitat.
