Corokia virgata x 'Emerald Jade' is a medium sized corokia plant. This native New Zealand shrub is hardy and can tolerate wind and frost. This particular variety grows compact and tidy making it a suitable hedging plant. The plant grows up to 1m in height and looks great planted in bulk or as a filler in any garden. Small bright yellow flowers appear in spring followed by yellow and orange berries.

Does best in full sun however can handle strong winds, coastal conditions and dry soils once established. So if planted in a sheltered spot in good soil with plenty of water and fertilizer, they will absolutely thrive.
