Found only on the Three Kings, has broader leaves and much stouter habit than C. australis.
Cordyline obtecta or the Three Kings cabbage tree is a more stout species of the cordyline genus. The monocot tree often has multiple branches diverging from the trunk and grows around 6m in height. It has the same palm tree/tropical aesthetic as the rest of the cordyline species.
Cordyline obtecta will tolerate most soils and moisture regimes but dislikes long periods of drought and is frost sensitive. Can look excellent in pots and tubs.
