An epiphyte often found growing on large trees. Attractive yellow flowers.

Pittosporum roimata is the only vascular plant endemic to the Poor Knights Islands. It is a distinct yellow-flowered variant of Pittosporum cornifolium, which is a morphologically similar epiphytic shrub from both main islands as well as other offshore islands.

It usually grows on rocky substrates associated with Xeronema callistemon and Metrosideros excelsa.

This small shrub has an open habit which grows up to 2m tall with a width of 1m. Bees love the pleasant scent of the fragrant flowers.
