Pomaderris edgerleyi is a low-growing endemic shrub found distributed in the North Island from Te Paki to south of Dargaville. The shrub has fuzzy twigs bearing small wrinkled leathery oval leaves with small teeth along the edge and clusters of yellowish flowers that occur in spring. The shrub grows up to 1m tall and grows most commonly on rocky surfaces and cliff faces.
The blue- grey foliage can make a nice addition to any garden. The shrub can also be great for erosion control. Grow in a sunny position in dry clay soils or rock gardens.
