Grows 3-5m high. Produces abundant white daisy-like flowers. Ideal for coastal hedging.

A fast growing evergreen shrub found on coastal cliffs and coastal forests. Its leaves are up to 7cm long and have a white tomentum underneath.

In the wild this is a threatened species with the status "naturally uncommon".
Flowering abundantly from mid-summer to late autumn. The white flowers develop into seed heads with hair parachutes on the seeds for wind dispersal. This tree is now widely cultivated.

Forms a bushy shrub of 3-5m high preferring full sun and dry soils, will tolerate some wind.
